What Palm Jumeirah clients typically want

The most common starting point for smart home enquiries on the Palm is a desire to bring an older villa up to modern standards. Many of the properties were built in the early-to-mid 2000s with basic AV infrastructure that was state of the art at the time but now feels dated and fragmented — multiple remotes, separate systems, nothing talking to anything else.

Every project starts with a site survey. We'll visit your villa, assess the existing infrastructure, understand what you want to achieve, and produce a system design and proposal. For retrofit projects — upgrading an existing home rather than a new build — this assessment is particularly important, as we need to understand what's already in place and how best to build on it.

For new build or major refurbishment projects, we ideally get involved at the design stage so we can specify the cabling infrastructure from the ground up. This makes a significant difference to the quality and neatness of the final installation.

Once the design is agreed, we manage everything — equipment procurement, installation, programming and commissioning. We don't use subcontractors. Our own engineers handle every element of the project.

The handover

When the project is complete, we don't just hand over a system and disappear. We spend time with you and your family making sure everyone is comfortable with how everything works. We also provide full documentation and offer ongoing maintenance support.
